While I was working with the NCCA developing resources, in particular the micro:bit and Python resources, I was kindly invited to the launch of the Leaving Certificate Computer Science Subject to deliver a camp to students from the 40 phase one schools. This was co hosted by Dr. Jake Rowan Byrne from TCD and Bridge 21. For me this was an honour to work with Jake and to be involved in the new subject in any way that I can. The event was a huge success, and the below pictures paint an amazing picture of what the future looks like in Computer Science at second level.
